Tamsin Luck yoga and pilates teacherI originally trained as a dancer at The Arts Educational School in Tring, Hertfordshire. After a short career in this field, I decided to complete a pilates teacher training course at the Pilates Institute. During my training, I became aware of how beneficial and effective this form of exercise is, which works the body deeply from the inside out.

My love of yoga also inspired me to embark on a teacher training course at The Sunra School of Yoga, where I trained with Nora Belton, who influenced me greatly with her soft, flowing vinyasa style.

Shortly after that, I trained to become a`Yogabugs' teacher, a qualification which enables me to teach yoga to children. .

I was curious about the way children can express themselves physically and mentally through movement and the benefits of being still and learning mindfulness. So in 2010, I decided to embark on a course at the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education to study child counselling, where I gained a diploma. Here I learnt a wealth of strategies working with the arts and I became very passionate about children's emotional wellbeing.

I have worked in schools across London as an Integrative Arts Therapist since 2011 for Kids Company, Place2be, Counselling in Schools Service and currently, Child in Time.

Alongside this, I teach yoga and mindfulness to teenagers in small groups privately and in schools.

Over the last 10 years, I have taught yoga and pilates privately and at a variety of different venues, schools, health clubs and overseas retreats. It has been extremely rewarding being able to help people recover from back pain, hip problems and other injuries.

I am also an ITEC qualified massage practitioner and offer treatments privately.
